Our school community is centred on the love of God, in His Son, Jesus Christ and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. We will be generous and visible people of Jesus Christ, reaching out in love to all, brining hope, aspiration and life in all its fullness to our children.
Welcome to the website of St Mary’s Church of England Primary Academy.
We are a church and community school that is also part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust. We are committed to building the best environment in which children can thrive, grow and achieve their full potential as unique people, made in God’s image and loved by Him from all eternity. This belief and commitment underpins the strong Christian ethos of loving care and service that is embedded in every aspect of school life.
As Head Teacher and Parish Priest, we are both fully committed to maintaining and deepening in every way we can, the historic links between the school and the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin. Church and school have always enjoyed a particularly close relationship. We see St Mary’s children and their families as part of both the school and the church communities, and we rejoice in the many and varied ways in which this bond is expressed.
Above all, we assure you of our commitment to reach out with the love of Christ as a school and as a parish church, into the community that we serve.
We hope you enjoy exploring our website, finding out more about this special relationship. We look forward to meeting with you and encourage you to visit our school.
Yours ever in Christ,
Mrs Lisa King Fr. Paul Hutchinson
